La Sociedad Portuaria Regional Barranquilla S.A ha removido un total de 2.944.087 metros cúbicos de sedimento, de los cuales 2.702.874 metros cúbicos corresponden a la draga La Arenosa y 241.213 metros cúbicos a la draga Virgen del Rocío.
Sociedad Portuaria Regional de Barranquilla S.A. continuing with the development of the investments’ plan for the year 2009, completed the construction of the first stage of the reefer yard, for the storage of refrigerated containers.
Durante el mes de julio se recibieron 89 motonaves en el muelle de la SPRB y fueron movilizadas un total de 399.309 toneladas de carga, lo cual representa un crecimiento de 53% con respecto al mismo mes del año anterior.
The implementation of the Master Development Plan for SPRB started on October, last year with the incorporation of two GOTWALD brand, type G HMK 6407 mobile cranes of 5th generation with a capacity of 100 tons each and with a boom of 51 meters, that allows to service vessels of all sizes in an efficient manner, including Panamax – type container ships.
